On June 30, WKSU introduces a series of changes to the program schedule intended to improve your listening experience. Notable updates include the transition of The Regina Brett Show to Saturdays at 3 p.m. (with a repeat Sunday mornings at 6 a.m.) and the introduction of Q with Jian Ghomeshi weekday evenings at 7 p.m. With the addition of Q, Folk Music with Jim Blum will now start an hour earlier at 8 p.m.
The Saturday schedule is shifting, with This American Life moving to noon, following Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! Afternoon programs will take a step back: The Whad'Ya Know? Radio Hour at 1 p.m., The Splendid Table at 2 p.m. and On the Media at 4 p.m. Saturday All Things Considered will continue to be heard at 5 p.m., along with broadcasts of A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor from 6 to 8 p.m.
