The new film takes place in summer 1939 as FDR readies his upstate New York estate for a visit from the British royal family and focuses on his relationships with his wife, mother and secretary. The cast also includes Laura Linney, Olivia Colman, Samuel West, Elizabeth Marvel, Elizabeth Wilson, Eleanor Bron, and Olivia Williams.
