Kent Old-Time Shindig
The acoustic string band music of yesteryear comes alive at the Kent Shindig, an open jam for old-time music and dance. The event takes place year-round, every first Sunday of the month, and includes lively Appalachian reels, as well as the occasional Irish tune, Civil War tune, etc. All are welcome to play (bring an acoustic instrument), dance, and/or listen.
