Lang Lang to Perform in Northeast Ohio

Four years ago, when pianist Andre Watts was too sick to make a scheduled performance with the Chicago Symphony, the late Isaac Stern walked onstage to introduce his 17-year-old replacement, Chinese piano prodigy Lang Lang. Now 21, Lang Lang has become the most heralded new classical pianist in years. Following the release of his latest CD--a recording of his Carnegie Hall recital debut--Lang Lang will perform twice in Northeast Ohio this week.
