Cleveland Councilwoman Fannie Lewis has died

A Cleveland political icon has died. Long-time City Councilwoman Fannie Lewis passed away this morning after a long illness. She was 82. For nearly 3 decades, Lewis served as councilwoman for Cleveland's Hough neighborhood. Over the years, she gained a reputation as a tireless fighter for her ward, and someone who wasn't afraid to tell mayors and business leaders what she thought.
