Ohio Senate bill to let local police to enforce federal immigration laws
Critics say bill isn't needed since the economy is slowing immigration

An Ohio lawmaker is resurrecting the idea of letting local police and sheriffs enforce federal immigration laws. An Ohio Senate committee plans to begin considering the plan this week, but it has its share of critics. Among them is a Columbus resident who didn't want to give his name.
