LeBron fares poorly in latest poll
Ohio voters parallel national numbers in survey

LeBron James, while still with Clevland and still a popular figure in Ohio,
A new poll makes it official. LeBron James is not a real popular guy in Ohio or anywhere in the country right now -- except maybe Miami.

Public Policy Polling says its latest survey shows 19 percent of Ohioans give the former Cavs star a favorable rating, while 34 percent view him negatively. Those numbers pretty much parallel the national numbers from a survey done just after James announced in a national television special that he's leaving Cleveland for Miami.

In the latest survey, Ohioans who describe themselves as Cavs fans (28 percent favorable) are a bit gentler with James than those who don't (14 percent favorable).

Thanks, but no thanks

USA Today is reporting that a representative of the Miami Coalition for the Homeless doesn't want old LeBron jerseys.

A group in Cleveland was trying to protest James' move and do some charity work at the same time by collecting old LeBron jerseys and sending them to the homeless in Miami.

The advocate for the homeless in Miami says, “there's a lot of politics around this."
