Cleveland Councilman Zack Reed is looking for a new way to stop disruptive flash mobs after Mayor Frank Jackson vetoed yesterday a social media ordinance Reed proposed. Reed’s law would have fined anyone caught using Twitter, Facebook or other social media to instigate or participate in a mob. WKSU’s Kevin Niedermier reports that while the mayor agrees with Reed’s objective, he says the ordinance could have interfered with law-abiding citizens’ rights to use social media. |
