Authorities say a man shot his estranged airport-security-officer wife and then killed himself at the airport’s employee parking lot.

Police spokesman Sgt. Sammy Morris says the woman was riding to work with a male co-worker when her husband followed them, rammed their car and fired five shots into it. The male TSA employee ran, the husband fired at him and missed, then turned the gun on himself.

The shooting occurred at the parking lot north of the airport in an industrial area along I-480. Police are investigating if there is a history of domestic violence, or if divorce papers had recently been served.
