In The Region: Ohio's 800 storefronts that call themselves internet cafes or sweepstakes have just suffered a big setback.
The Ohio House of Representatives has okayed a bill that aims to shut down the stores as illegal gambling operations.
Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports that there wasn't much debate on the House floor over the merits of the crackdown, and it was passed by a wide margin. |
