The executive director of ResponsibleOhio, Ian James, says the defeat of Issue 3 might be the end of this election but it’s not the end of the fight to legalize marijuana.

“This was folks, the first step toward legalization. We are not going away.”

James says his group will look at what worked and what didn’t then come up with another plan for a future ballot issue. Opponents said this plan, which involved ten specified growing sites, would have allowed a monopoly to be put in the constitution.
