On Thursday, Nov. 2 from 5 PM to 8PM. stop in to tour WKSU Broadcast Center in Kent (including our state-of-the-art newsroom), meet our on-air and news staff, learn about WKSU’s plans for the future and toast your public radio station and fellow listeners during a community open house! Tours will take place throughout the event and light refreshments will be served.
WKSU has much to celebrate this fall – Wendy Turner has been leading the station for a year; we hired Mark Arehart as our new Arts and Culture Reporter; we presented Robert Siegel, Eric Deggans and David Folkenflik at events in Northeast Ohio; our news team won numerous awards for excellence including best news operation in the state; and, last but not least, our Northeast Ohio listener community has grown immensely in engagement with and support of WKSU. Come join the party!
The WKSU Broadcast Center is located on the Kent State University campus at 1613 E. Summit St., Kent, OH.
