The Cavs returned to home court Wednesday night for Game 3 of the NBA Finals, but they didn’t get the advantage they had hoped, losing to Golden State, 110-102.

They are now on the brink of being swept out of the NBA Finals, down 0-3 in the series.

Cavs coach Tyronn Lue says the team was unable to maintain the lead they had going into halftime.

The Cavs are in Cleveland tonight for a must-win game 3 of the NBA Finals. Cleveland trails the Golden State Warriors 0-2 in the best of seven game series. WKSU commentator Terry Pluto says the Cavs face the pressure of winning tonight while still trying to shake off the dramatic ending to game 1.

Pluto says no team has ever come back from an 0-3 hole in any playoff series. Still, the Cavs have had their share of heroics.

The Cavs are down 2-0 in the NBA Finals after a loss at Golden State. But fans in Akron didn’t seem too concerned about the team’s chances when they return home for game three on Wednesday.

They were glued to TV screens at Mr. Zub’s in Akron’s Highland Square for the first three quarters of last night’s game. But they began losing interest as Golden State widened their lead in the fourth.
